Field-based learning that no lecture hall can replicate.
Genuinely remote.
Ecologically significant.
Academically alignable.
The experience
What your group will live.
Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.
Carry · Cross · Reflect
Your group will carry their own packs through remote Patagonian terrain — crossing glacial rivers, ascending snow-dusted passes, camping under skies so dark they feel borrowed from another century.
Facilitated reflection sessions, ecological observation, and group dynamics challenges are woven into every stage. Not as extras. As the program itself.
Built for groups who want more than a hike.
True backcountry routes
50+ km treks through valleys accessible only on foot, including some of Aysén's least-traveled wilderness corridors.
Full expedition infrastructure
Technical MSR / Big Agnes tents, inflatable expedition sleeping pads, dedicated camp kitchen, and satellite InReach communication throughout.
Safety-first, always
Certified WFR guides (1:6 ratio), complete first aid equipment, satellite tracking, and daily check-ins with your logistics coordinator.
Kolb-based facilitation
Every experience is followed by structured reflection, conceptualization, and application. The wilderness is the classroom, not the backdrop.
Cross-border expeditions
Programs can culminate with the legendary Chile–Argentina crossing via Candelario Mansilla and Lago del Desierto into El Chaltén.
Community-embedded
Local porters, regional food, and encounters with Patagonian families and conservation projects built into the route — not bolted on.
Three landscapes. Infinite possible programs.
Circuito las Horquetas in Cerro Castillo National Park
Through lenga forests, glacial lagoons, and snow passes in Chile's only IUCN Green List national park. The classic Patagonian backcountry initiation.
The Rewilding Corridor.
Jeinimeni → Valle Hermoso → Valle Avilés. One of Latin America's most ambitious rewilding landscapes — river crossings, open steppe, possible sightings of pumas, condors, and guanacos.
The Border Crossing.
From deep Chilean Patagonia across the border into Argentina, ending at the base of Fitz Roy. A genuine expedition, not a day trip.
All routes are adapted to your group's fitness level, academic objectives, and timeline. We don't do fixed packages — we build programs.
Two ways to start. One serious wilderness.
Taking a group to the field?
Tell us about your university, group size, academic objectives, and timeline. We'll design a backcountry program your students will talk about for the rest of their careers.
Have a group and a route in mind?
We work with university clubs, gap year groups, and independent student expeditions. If you're serious about the wilderness, we're serious about you.
